Belonging to the family of aromatic polyamides, meta-aramid fibers which handle similarly to normal textile fibers is characterized by its excellent resistance to heat as it neither melts nor ignites in normal levels of oxygen. It is used in protective apparel, air filtration and thermal and electrical insulation.
 

The fibers and fabric by-products can be recycled into
- Staple fiber with an average fiberlength of 40~60 mm for use in spinning and nonwovens.
