Milled carbon fiber.
Carbon fiber is a very thin fiber ( 0,005 mm ~0,010 mm) with very high tensile strength and tensile Modulus.
Carbon fiber is also electrically conductive and it is this property that is interesting for adding carbon fiber in a milled form to thermoplastics and/or thermosets in order to make these polymers antistatic or electrically conductive.
The electrical conductivity of milled recycled carbon fiber is the same as milled virgin carbon fiber but our price is lower due to lower raw material cost.
We mill ( grind) recycled carbon fiber into a milled carbon fiber, we can mill as fine as 60 microns.
We also produce milled carbon fiber with almost no sizings so therefore free flow.
We mill Pan based carbon fiber as well as Pitch based carbon fiber.
